Biography

Antonín Stehlík (1892–1973) was a Czech individual whose long life encompassed the final decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and most of the 20th century. He witnessed the birth of Czechoslovakia and its subsequent development as an independent nation.

Stehlík's extended lifetime provided perspective on the dramatic transformations that reshaped Central Europe. His burial at Vinohrady Cemetery honors his place in Prague's historical continuum.
