Antonino Lombardo

Biography

Antonino Lombardo, born in 1891, spent his early years as part of an immigrant generation that helped shape Chicago and the communities surrounding Mount Carmel Cemetery. His resilience and sense of kinship made him a respected presence among neighbors who looked to one another for support.

He was known for the warmth he shared with family and friends, and his memory lives on through those who recall the generous spirit he brought to gatherings and everyday life before his untimely death in 1928.
