Biography

Apollodoro Santarelli was a sculptor whose artistic contributions enriched the cultural heritage of nineteenth-century Italy. Working during a period of renewed interest in monumental sculpture and public art, he created works that reflected both classical traditions and contemporary sensibilities.

Santarelli's career, which began in the early nineteenth century and extended to 1908, allowed him to witness the evolution of Italian artistic practice. He is honored at the monumental cemetery of Forlì, where his legacy is preserved among the region's artistic and cultural figures.
