Biography
Born in 1916, Arie Addicks carried a spirit of service and a steadfast moral compass. When the Nazis occupied the Netherlands, he refused to remain passive while his neighbors were threatened.
Addicks became involved in the resistance, helping to hide people and to distribute vital information that kept the movement cohesive. Taken by the occupiers, he was executed in 1941 and now lies in the Dutch Honorary Cemetery Bloemendaal, where his memory inspires quiet gratitude.
