Biography

Arkadiy Stoykovich (1814–1886) was a Russian librarian who dedicated his career to the preservation and organization of knowledge during the nineteenth century. As a librarian, he contributed to the intellectual infrastructure of Russian society, facilitating access to learning and cultural materials.

Stoykovich's professional life reflected the importance of libraries and scholarly institutions in nineteenth-century Russia. He was laid to rest at Volkovo Cemetery, a recognition of his service to Russian culture and learning.
