Arnold Harris

Biography

Arnold Harris was born in 1809 and lived through the first two-thirds of the nineteenth century. His life encompassed the era of American expansion, industrialization, and the profound national divisions that defined his time.

Harris passed away in 1866 and was interred at Cave Hill Cemetery. His fifty-seven years of life placed him among those who witnessed the critical developments of the nineteenth century, including the Civil War and its immediate aftermath.
