Stuntman/Actor
Biography
Art Mix, the screen persona of George Kesterson, became an indelible figure in low-budget Westerns by performing his own stunts and projecting the rugged resilience audiences craved during the 1930s and 1940s.
He helped set early standards for stunt performers and quietly supported fellow cowboys on and off set, leaving a lasting imprint before being laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
