Arthur Farre

Biography

Arthur Farre (1811–1887) was a dedicated entomologist whose work contributed to the scientific understanding of insects during the nineteenth century. His research and observations added to the growing body of entomological knowledge during an era of significant scientific advancement.

Farre's commitment to the study of entomology reflected the Victorian era's enthusiasm for natural history and scientific inquiry. His work helped advance the field during a period of rapid scientific progress. He was interred at Kensal Green Cemetery.
