Biography

Arthur Hartshorne was an association football player who represented his country during the early 20th century. His sporting career was cut short by the demands of the First World War.

Hartshorne made the ultimate sacrifice in 1915, laying down his life in service during the Great War. He was laid to rest at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, a final resting place for those who gave their lives in the conflict.
