Arthur J. Jackson (1924-2017) earned the Medal of Honor for heroic leadership during World War II, and he carried that courage into decades of service to veterans and young people.

After leaving active duty he remained a mentor, shared his stories, and served in public office, and he is interred at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
