Biography

Arthur T. Hannett brought his legal background to public service as New Mexico's seventh governor, dedicating himself to the modernization of the state's transportation networks and to the fair administration of state affairs from 1925 to 1927.

After leaving the governor's office he returned to private practice and continued to counsel civic leaders, offering the steady hand that had defined his time in Santa Fe while making his home near Fairview Memorial Park.
