August Bondi

Biography

August Bondi was born in 1833 and, after emigrating to the United States, became a passionate advocate for equality, supporting the free-state cause in Kansas and lending his voice to the broader struggle for justice.

He continued to serve his community with integrity and now rests at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, where his courage and commitment to freedom are still honored.
