Biography

Auguste de Sayve was a French composer of considerable talent who contributed to the musical landscape of the 19th century. Born in 1790, he composed during a period when French music was undergoing significant evolution and development.

De Sayve's musical compositions reflected the artistic sensibilities of his time. He was interred at Père Lachaise Cemetery, the final resting place of many of France's most distinguished cultural figures, where his memory is preserved.
