Biography
Auguste Delaune, born in 1908, dedicated his life to public service and the pursuit of justice. As a politician he spoke for the voiceless and stood firm on the principles of democracy even as the world around him grew darker.
In 1943 he was taken from this work, but his legacy lives on in the ideals he championed and in the people he inspired. He lies now in the Cemetery of Saint-Denis, remembered as a steadfast advocate for freedom.
