Biography

Augustin Hubert was born in 1918 and came of age as conflict engulfed Europe, joining his comrades to preserve liberty despite great peril. His service carried him to the shores of Normandy, where he joined the courageous efforts of 1944.

He now rests in Hermanville British War Cemetery, a place where visitors can pause to remember the young lives given to defend freedom and the enduring peace they helped secure.
