Avraham Eliezer Alperstein

Biography

Avraham Eliezer Alperstein arrived in America in 1853 with a deep faith and a determination to help fellow immigrants feel welcome.

Through his leadership within the congregation, Avraham helped build community institutions that offered comfort and hope during uncertain times.

He was laid to rest at Mount Judah Cemetery, where his devotion to faith and learning endures.
