Axel Leijonhufvud

Biography

Axel Leijonhufvud was a Swedish military officer who served his nation during the nineteenth century. His career in the armed forces reflected the martial traditions of the Swedish nobility and professional military class of his era.

Leijonhufvud's final resting place is at the cimetière du Nord de Solna in Stockholm, where he was interred following his death in 1908. His military service remains part of Sweden's historical record during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
