Axel Sandal

Biography

Axel Sandal was a Danish bookseller whose business acumen and passion for literature contributed to Denmark's cultural life. As a purveyor of books, he played a role in making literature accessible to the Danish public during the early-to-mid twentieth century.

Sandal's dedication to his profession is remembered at Ordrup Cemetery, where he was interred. His work in the book trade remains part of Denmark's commercial and cultural heritage.
