Biography

Axel Wachtmeister was a Swedish politician whose career extended through much of the nineteenth century. He engaged in the political life of Sweden during a period of constitutional and social evolution.

Wachtmeister's contributions to Swedish governance and public affairs are part of the legacy of his era. He was interred at Gryt cemetery, where his memory endures.
