Barnett Gibbs

Biography

Barnett Gibbs was a businessman whose pursuits helped shape Dallas in the late nineteenth century. Through his ventures, he supported the city’s growth and the sense of possibility that drew people to its streets and storefronts.

He passed in 1904, but the spirit of enterprise he embodied remained as part of Dallas’s forward movement. Barnett is honored for his dedication to community progress and the goodwill he extended as a local leader.
