Bartoloměj Čurn was a pioneering photographer whose work captured the visual heritage of 19th-century Bohemia. Born in 1824, he embraced the emerging art and technology of photography, documenting his era through the lens of his camera.
Čurn's photographic legacy represents an important record of his time, preserving images and moments for posterity. He worked as a photographer until his death in 1905 and was interred in the Saint Odile cemetery, where his contributions to visual documentation are remembered.
