Běla Vrbová-Pavlousková was a Czech translator born in 1896. She dedicated her career to translation work, serving as a bridge between Czech culture and international literature during the twentieth century, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and artistic expression across linguistic and cultural boundaries.

Vrbová-Pavlousková's professional life spanned several decades of Czech intellectual and cultural development. She remained active in her translation work until her death in 1978 and was laid to rest in Vyšehrad cemetery, the historic burial ground in Prague that honors many prominent figures in Czech cultural and intellectual history.
