Biography

Benedict Charles Franzetta was a dedicated Roman Catholic leader who supported parishes as auxiliary bishop of Youngstown and as vicar general. Known for his calm spirit and pastoral concern, he helped oversee diocesan programs and accompanied clergy and laity through times of change.

He remained involved in spiritual formation and diocesan outreach long after retirement, trusting in prayer and community. He was laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, where his quiet devotion to the Church is lovingly recalled.
