Benjamin Larned

Biography

Benjamin Larned (1794–1862) was born during the early years of the American republic and lived through a period of significant national growth. He witnessed the expansion and development of the young nation throughout his lifetime.

Larned passed away in 1862 and was laid to rest at Pittsfield Cemetery. His sixty-eight years spanned from the founding era through the Civil War period.
