Born in 1872, Benjamin Stickney Cable grew up as new industry and ideas reshaped his surroundings, yet he remained a friend to those seeking encouragement, offering a listening ear and a dependable hand in times of triumph and trial.

He cherished the rhythms of family life and quietly supported the institutions that made up his hometown, and when he passed in 1915 his loved ones laid him to rest in Chippiannock Cemetery where his memory remains among those graves.
