Bernard Hantke

Biography

Bernard Hantke (1826–1900) was a Polish businessperson whose commercial endeavors contributed to the economic development of Warsaw during the nineteenth century. His entrepreneurial activities reflected the growing commercial vitality of the city during this period of industrial and economic transformation.

Hantke's career as a businessman demonstrated the opportunities and challenges of commercial life in nineteenth-century Poland. He was laid to rest at the Protestant Reformed Cemetery in Warsaw, reflecting his religious affiliation and his place within Warsaw's diverse religious and business communities.
