Biography

Bernhard Olsen, born in 1836, devoted his craft as a draftsperson to the preservation of Danish heritage, lending meticulous care to the structures at Frilandsmuseet. His patient eye for detail helped future generations appreciate the architecture of the Danish countryside.

He remained a steady presence in the museum community until his death in 1922, respected for the quiet precision with which he carried out every commission.
