Biography

Bert Lance brought his banking acumen and commonsense approach to the White House as budget director for President Jimmy Carter, and later steered financial institutions with a focus on integrity and community banking.

After public life he shared hard-earned lessons through teaching, charitable boards, and a commitment to strengthening the communities that shaped him near Fain Cemetery.
