Bertha Hansel

Biography

Bertha Hansel was a woman of the Brno Jewish community who lived during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Her life was part of the rich tapestry of family and community life that characterized Jewish Moravia.

Living from 1848 to 1911, Hansel witnessed significant developments in her community and region. She was interred in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, where her memory is honored among those of her fellow community members.
