Biography
Berthold Fuchs was born in 1852 and witnessed Brno’s evolution from a nineteenth-century town into a modern city. Though the decades brought many changes, he always remained committed to the values of kindness, reliability, and thoughtful conversation, which made him a cherished elder among his peers.
He lived through wars and shifting borders, and in his later years he continued to cherish the friendships and traditions that gave his life meaning. Berthold passed in 1940 and was laid to rest in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, leaving behind memories of a man who quietly cared for his community.
