Bertram Denison

Biography

Born in 1883, Bertram Denison answered the call to serve with quiet determination, joining his comrades as the Great War swept across northern France and embodying the resolve of the generation who stepped forward in 1914.

He now lies in Le Cateau Communal Cemetery, Commonwealth Plot, where the upkeep of the graves allows visitors to remember the courage of those early days of the conflict.
