Biography

Billy Muffett took to the mound as a youngster and reached the major leagues in the 1950s, spending time with the St. Louis Cardinals and other clubs while earning a reputation as a reliable right-hander with an even temper.

After his playing days he turned that same steady leadership toward teaching pitchers of all ages, staying close to the sport that had shaped him and savoring the camaraderie that comes with every clubhouse.
