Bluford Wilson

Biography

Bluford Wilson (1841-1924) fought for the Union in the Civil War before he devoted his career to the law, rising to prominence as U.S. District Attorney and later counsel to federal agencies charged with upholding the fair administration of justice.

He continued to mentor younger lawyers and remained active in veterans' organizations, a commitment to public service honored by those who stop at Oak Ridge Cemetery to remember him.
