Biography
Bob Gibson devoted himself to baseball from a young age, refining his skills on the diamond and sharing his love of the game with teammates, rivals, and the many young players who watched him play. He understood that the spirit of competition could lift a community as much as any single victory.
He carried himself with quiet intensity and helped build a spirit of resilience in every club he joined, and Rosehill Cemetery now keeps his memory close to the many seasons he spent chasing the next inning.
