Boots Randolph, born in 1927, became one of the defining saxophonists of the Nashville sound, delighting audiences with his signature tune "Yakety Sax" and lending his soulful playing to countless sessions that helped shape country and popular music. He continued to share his music for decades and was laid to rest at Nashville City Cemetery, leaving a joyful legacy cherished by fans and fellow musicians alike.
