Biography

Boris Piotrovsky was a distinguished art historian whose scholarly contributions enriched the understanding and appreciation of artistic traditions. His expertise and research advanced the field of art history in the Soviet Union.

Piotrovsky's academic career spanned much of the twentieth century, during which he became recognized as a leading authority in his field. He passed away in 1990 and was laid to rest at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery.
