Biography

Boyd Merriman, 1st Baron Merriman, served on the bench with a deep sense of propriety and a careful respect for English jurisprudence. His legal practice and subsequent judicial appointments reflected a lifelong commitment to the rule of law, and his experience in the House of Lords added a broader perspective to the development of national legal principles.
