Biography

Božena Hlinková-Liebscherová was a Czech painter born in 1885. She devoted her artistic career to painting, contributing to Czech visual arts during the early-to-mid twentieth century, a period of considerable artistic development and cultural change.

Hlinková-Liebscherová's work reflected the artistic traditions and innovations of her time. She remained engaged in her artistic practice until her death in 1970 and was laid to rest in Vyšehrad cemetery, the distinguished burial ground that honors many important figures in Czech cultural history.
