Biography
Bronisław Mansperl (1890–1915) was a young Polish man whose life was cut short during the tumultuous opening years of World War I. Born in the final decade of the 19th century, he came of age during a period of intense national ferment and international conflict.
Mansperl's brief existence of twenty-five years reflected the tragic fate of many young Poles during the Great War. His burial in the Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery in Warsaw indicates his place within the capital's Jewish community, a community that would face even greater trials in the decades to follow.
