Biography
Bruno Bettelheim devoted much of his life to understanding the psychological needs of children, especially those who had endured tremendous hardship, and he served as a passionate advocate for humane care and education.
He shared stories of resilience among refugees and of the healing power of creativity, hoping to give vulnerable youngsters a sense of dignity and possibility.
