Biography
Burr Tillstrom pioneered puppetry on the early television waves, introducing Kukla, Fran and Ollie and inviting audiences into imaginative worlds built from simple, expressive characters.
He advocated for the arts, mentored aspiring performers, and remained grateful for the laughter shared across generations; his final resting place is Rosehill Cemetery.
