Calvin Jackson

Biography

Calvin Jackson, born in 1820, kept the traditions of his hometown alive through honest labor and deep loyalty. His open door, willingness to mentor youth, and readiness to stand beside neighbors in trial made him a respected figure among many generations.

He entered rest at Old Barry Cemetery in 1888, where visitors continue to reflect on the gentleness of his heart and the steadiness of his character.
