Cameron E. Thom

Biography

Cameron E. Thom (1825–1915) served as mayor of Los Angeles in the 1880s, guiding the young city through rapid expansion and championing improvements to streets, sanitation, and municipal trust.

He remained active in civic life after his terms, offering counsel to newer leaders, and he now rests at Evergreen Cemetery as a reminder of steady stewardship.
