Biography

Camilla Krouchelnitskaïa was a religious figure whose spiritual work and devotion were central to her life and community. She maintained her faith and commitment despite the increasingly hostile environment toward religious practice in the Soviet Union.

Krouchelnitskaïa was executed at Sandarmokh in 1937 during the Great Purge, when religious figures were systematically targeted for persecution. She remains a witness to the suffering endured by believers under Soviet repression.
