Biography

Camilla Loyall Ashe lived a full life spanning the latter half of the nineteenth century and the opening years of the twentieth. Born in 1870, she witnessed the transformation of American society during the Gilded Age and Progressive Era.

Her memory is preserved at Oak Grove Cemetery, where she was laid to rest in 1931 at the age of 61. She remains a part of the community's enduring history and heritage.
