Biography

Carl Erik Lagerheim (1742–1813) was a Swedish civil servant who dedicated his career to public administration during the reign of Gustav III. As a member of the bureaucratic class, he contributed to the governance and organization of Swedish state affairs during a period of significant administrative reform and modernization.

Lagerheim's professional life reflected the growing importance of trained administrators in 18th-century Sweden.
