Biography
Carl Gotthard Hammerbeck stood as a pillar of the Reopalu community, dedicating much of his life to the stewardship of the land and the people who farmed it. He understood that the health of the region depended on care for both the soil and the families who tended it.
Hammerbeck lent support to charitable efforts and to the parish’s work with youth, so that farming and education could advance together. Neighbors remembered him for his pragmatic kindness and for the encouragement he gave to neighbors working toward a better future.
