Biography
Carl Kurtenacker was born in 1856 and lived through the latter half of the nineteenth century and into the twentieth. He passed away in 1943, having witnessed tremendous change during his long life in Wisconsin.
His memory is preserved in the Catholic Cemetery of La Crosse, where he is honored as a faithful member of his community and parish.
