Biography

Carl Vandagrift was remembered as a devoted member of his parish and a faithful contributor to the Catholic community, offering time and resources to ensure that families new to the area found spiritual and practical support. His kindness to children and elders alike reflected a deep belief in the dignity of every person.

Though his life was cut short in 1920, Vandagrift inspired others to continue the work of building schools, supporting parishes, and tending to the marginalized. He now rests in the Catholic Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and quiet strength.
