Carlos P. Scovil

Biography

Carlos P. Scovil devoted himself to the people of Lowville and Lewis County, often serving in legal and civic roles that kept courts running and communities stable.

His sense of duty kept him at the side of town leaders in times of need, and he worked to ensure that local institutions, from schools to the rural church, could serve succeeding generations, and he now rests in Lowville Rural Cemetery.
